NFS-TexEd - a texture-editor for NFS (UPDATE)	Sonntag, 04.01.2009
A texture-editor for the games Need for Speed Undercover, ProStreet, Carbon, Most Wanted, Underground 2 and Underground was released! With NFS-TexEd by nfsu360 you can open the archive files of these games and extract the textures as well as import new ones. The program is still in its beta phase, but it should enable some interesting possibilities. Make sure to make backups, before you do any changes to your files. You can find NFS-TexEd in its current version 0.5.0 Beta in our download area: Update 2009-01-05: A new version 0.5.4 beta has been released, which fixed some critical bugs. Of course I hade read the readme.txt. I have already installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64). But the program won't work. I have downloaded it from Microsoft.com and installed it 6 days ago. Maybe 64-bit OS is not supported.

first please read readme.txt, there is:
Requirements
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package

but if you have x64 use correct version of redistributable package (x64)

It doesn't work. When I open the NFS-TexEd.exe it says:

The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Maybe it's my 64-bit operating system (XP Pro x64 Edition) I will try tomorrow on 32-bit OS.
