| Need for Speed: the Movie? |
Thursday, 24.07.2008 |
Electronic Arts announced a deal with the United Talent Agency (UTA), the leading Hollywood talent and literary agency. The UTA should help EA to develop and create lage-budget motion pictures and television series based on EA's portfolio, as for example Need for Speed, Army of Two, Dead Space and Mirror's Edge.
EA already has some projects in development, like a feature version of the popular The Sims, a MySims animated television series and an animated DVD feature version of its new title Dead Space to launch with the game.
We will see if we can see a Need for Speed Movie in the cinemas, or a NFS television series some time. First steps in the movie industry were already made with last year's documentary 'Birth of ProStreet', a Making-Of Need for Speed ProStreet.

I`m very looking forward to this.. Hope its not going to look like F&F movies. Tho they already look like the game. Example: Tokyo Drift is very much alike Carbon, and even NFS U like the first movie of Fast&Furious.
