Need for Speed No Limits released Wednesday, 30.09.2015
After a long testing phase the game Need for Speed No Limits was now released for iOS and Android and can be downloaded for free at the Apple Appstore* and Google Playstore!

In Need for Speed No Limits players bring their driving fantasies to life, building a fleet of the world’s hottest street racing cars. Featuring hundreds of parts and body kits from Rocket Bunny, 6666 Customs, RTR and RWB players can tune their ride their way.

Need for Speed No Limits launches with a colossal world that will grow over time, starting with more than 900 race events, 100 player levels, more than 10 game modes, 38 stunning race courses and 30 different licensed cars. Players can challenge their rivals in head-to-head tournaments to earn rewards and exclusive items.



Need for Speed No Limits was developed by EA Firemonkeys, the australian developer studio, which also created Real Racing.

*) At the moment NFS No Limits is only available at the Google Playstore, in the Appstore it is only available at the test markets Netherlands and Taiwan yet, but should be released soon.

NFS No Limits: New Details Friday, 09.01.2015
Need for Speed No Limits is a pure mobile game for iOS and Android and will be released in 2015. On the » official Facebook-page EA posted a » FAQ, explaing a couple of questions.

NFS No Limit will be a Free2Play game, which means you can play it for free, but you can purchase upgrades in the app if you want to.
At the launch the game seems a bit limited, as there is neither a multiplayer-mode, nor an open-world where you can drive around freely. But the developers are aware of the wishes of the players and the game will get more and more features over time.
To play you have to be online and connected to the EA servers. This is to ensure having ongoing full access to the game features and content.

Need for Speed No Limits


There will be a large variety of modification possibilities with "millions of possible combinations" of car parts, including engines, gearboxes, suspension, spoilers, roof scoops, bonnets, tinted windows and more.

NFS No Limits requires at least iOS 6.1 and iPhone 4S or better. There are not details about iPads yet.
Android requires at least API level 15, which means you'll need Android 4.0.3 or better. Regarding hardware it should be at least a 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB RAM.

NFS No Limits: Gameplay Teaser Wednesday, 07.01.2015
Need for Speed: No Limits is a racing game for iOS and Android, which is currently being developed by Firemonkeys, also known for their game "Real Racing 3".

Now a gameplay teaser was published, which shows first scenes of what to expect from the game:



A release date is not known yet, only the year 2015.

Need for Speed: No Limits Friday, 21.11.2014
Need for Speed: No Limits is now officially announced for iOS and Android!
The mobile racing game is being developed by the Firemonkeys, which previously made Real Racing 3. Ken Block is a partner of the project and gives some insight in this short launch trailer:



Details about the game are not known yet, only that Firemonkeys "built No Limits from the ground up to deliver the insanely-fast driving and incredible graphics that fans have come to expect from Need for Speed – all in the palm of your hand."

NFS No Limits


For a "full" Need for Speed we will have to wait for another year, as Ghost Games announced they want to pause in 2014 to take the time to develop the next Need for Speed game.
