| NFS Shift: Tiny HUD Elements Mod |

 Unlike Console gamers, the PC-Gamers typically sit right in front of the screen, so they don't need large interface elements spanning over half the screen. This is the reason why rdk10 created the Tiny HUD Elements Mod, which resizes the elements and moves them to the edge of the screen:

| NFS World: 3 Million registered Users |

 Need for Speed World reached a new milestone and eclipsed three million registered users, which makes the game one of the world's most popular free-to-play racing game!
Recently the day/night cycle was added to Need for Speed World with the latest patch and a few weeks ago the performance customization tuning system was introduced.
If you haven't tried Need for Speed World yet, you can download the game client from the official website:

Our NFS Hot Pursuit Showcase Challenge will come to an end soon, so if you want to win, don't forget to upload your most beautiful Autolog photos!
Just play NFS Hot Pursuit, enter the photomode and shoot a cool photo. Then log-in at ![](\"images/dot_pfeil_yellow.gif\") Autolog on the Web and download your picture, which you can upload to our NFS Hot Pursuit Showcase.
A jury will pick the best picture of of each category and among them will give out these prizes:
- 4x NFS Hot Pursuit Package (3 Poster, NFS HP Cup, Keystrap)
- 1x NFS Hot Pursuit Standee + Keystrap, Sticker
- 2x NFS Hot Pursuit Big Box Set à 3 + Keystrap, Sticker
Additionally we give out 10 NFS Hot Pursuit keystraps among all participants!
The challenge runs until December 19th 2010 and after that the jury will determine the best pictures. The community rating has no influence on your chances to win. The winners will be announced shortly after that.

 Today the Limited Edition of Shift 2 Unleashed was announced, which contains 40 career-events and three additional exclusive cars: the Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15), Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV and the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640.
Along with this announcement, EA published some pictures of these cars we want to share with you:

| AMD Catalyst 10.12 |

AMD released Catalyst v10.12, the driver package for their graphic cards. Apart from the new user interface, OpenGL 4.1 and the hardware acceleration for DivX-Videos, the release notes contain also a bugfix for Need for Speed Shift:
Need for Speed Shift no longer displays random corruption during game play if 2 races are played consecutively without exiting the game.
Unfortunately the release notes don't mention anything about the crash in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, when overwriting the Antialiasing settings in the control center. Criterion said in their announcement of the next PC-Patch, that this bug should be fixed with Catalyst v10.12.

| NFS World Patch 5.04 |

The latest patch v5.04 for Need for Speed World introduced Night Time, the Snowflake-Porsche and even added the new language Russian! French, Spanish and Polish were already introduced with v5.01.
Additionally Holiday-themed Vinyls are available to you when you purchase 17,500 SpeedBoost during the holidays and you can check out the "Home for the Holidays" Community Event in Downtown Rockport.

| Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition |

EA announced the Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition, which contains exclusive contents, similar to the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Limited Edition. Players who pre-order the game will receive immediate access to three exclusive cars:
- Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15)
- Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV
- Lamborghini Murciélago LP640
Additionally you get exclusive access to 40 career events, including "Single-Type race events where a driver’s skill is pushed to the limits as each player competes in the same make of car; Old vs. New Challenge events in which classic cars go head-to-head against their modern counterparts; and Manufacturer Showdown events that pits some of the most iconic car rivalries against each other in an all-out-battle to prove which car is the best."
Shift 2 Unleashed is the successor of Need for Speed Shift and is being released in Spring 2011.
