| PU-Modeler canceled! |

As you can read at nfs2000.de and on some NFS boards, the project "PU-Modeler" has been canceled.
With this tool it would have been possible to modify the 3D-model or the Need For Speed Porsche Cars. So there would have been many completely new NFS5 cars.
The reason for the cancelling were some negative comments and threats to the author Uwe, who now want to leave the NFS scene.
The last hope is, that another able programmer can crack the NFS:Porsche format.

My Opinion: (Blizz)
If you ask me, the PU-Modeler was a big fake from the beginning on. There never was a real proof for that, that this tool really exists.
Instead of that there were some screenshots, which were quickly prooved as fakes.
That was my comment. If you want you can open a thread in our Forum and tell us your opinion.

 The newest car calls 914 Fatboyslim. It does not just have new textures. It also has a faster performance and a new profile. Altogether it is a great car!

 Today I saw at motorcityonline.com, that the Signup for the Beta-Test for Motor City Online is opened!
But the beta test is only available to residents of the United States and Canada and you have to pay 5 Dollar for the CD by credit card.

 Some time before I have added the Porsche 914 Wonderland. You may know the car Porsche 996 Photo, which is also from him. On the car there are fotos of friends of NFS. Now he is planning a new project, where you can send your own pics of your head, and then he will put it on a Porsche 914. So if you want to see your face on this car, please write in our forum.

New Stats for NFS-PU Online Racing
 After the server changes on EA-Racing there were some problems with the gettting the stats to record. So they just put up the No Stats code for the Stats servers until they determined what the problem was. Now there is a "Stats Test" - Server running. If you go on earacing.com and check the stats in Porsche Unleashed you will see, that there are stats recording. Wins, points, races and track times.
But many hacks had been disabled, so that onlineracing should be secure and fair.

 Now the vote with the question: "How often do you visit NFS-Planet?" had been finished. Nevertheless almost 45% are coming daily. 26% are coming within every week, but 30% are coming more less.
