Short Description: When attempting to join an online game no connection can be made. What ports are needed to play the game online?

Need for Speed Underground uses the following TCP and UDP ports for Internet Play:

TCP: 10900-10999
UDP: 3658, 3659

These Ports must be open for all Internet Play. For hardware firewall or router adjustments, please consult your users manual for these products to adjust them to enable the above ports.

Software Firewalls should be turned off or Hardware Routers/Firewall should enable ports as well as Disable the Default Firewall if your running Windows XP.

To disable the XP firewall, follow these steps:

- Double click "My Network Places"
- Click "View Network Connections"
- Right click on "Local Area Connection and Select "Properties"
- Click the "Advanced" tab
- Make sure to uncheck the box under "Internet Connection Firewall"

Hopefully these suggestions will be of service to you.
