| NFS UC: Possible Teaser |

 A possible teaser video of Need for Speed Undercover showed up. The following video shows some racing scenes and a criminal story, which could fit into the schema of NFS Undercover. Also the releasedate November 18th 2008 sounds plausible, since the latest NFS games always were released at the end of November.
The video also shows the link to the website of  Whichroadtotake.com. This website contains only a video from a surveilance camera recording an interrogation room.

i think there is some new stuff available. if you click on the tool box on right, they draw a mobile saying calling carmen. and then clikc on that mobile and another video appear.
in the same way click on flower pot and detective throws away the table revealing the camera and if you clikc camera, another video appears.

I saw an advertisement today in ign, showing a video of the 2 guys fighting, and then the guy with black clothes moves the table to get the camera of the interrogation room. it was really weird, but it was new.
If it is in ign, it must be nfs undercover or something important.

Viral Marketing
Did any of you heard about viral marketing? The thing they did with Cloverfield - noone knew wtf except that its a monster movie until the release. Same thing with Undercover - it is the new NFS, but thats the only thing we know.

I just checked back on the site whichroadtotake and when i click any of the clickable things from which you can see a video clips now it just says feed accessible 07:30:08 and feed accessible 07:02:08(wtf?) and feed not accessible at all! What the hell happened? This all undercover stuff is beginning to turn into a biggest prank in the history!

there is some new stuff available at.
car keys... agent shows a photo out of file.
power point (left bottom).. shows a new video of undercover agent girl
chess board on the book shelf... they start the chess game and agent is check mate with in seconds

A few things
Remember the scene, when you go to whichroadtotake, where those two guys get something to eat? There is a number written underneath the text of the cookiefortune. The number is 8633726837 and can also be seen at the loading screen of the site for a very short amount of time.. When you use your cellphone and pretend your sending a textmessage,dailing those numbers, it`s saying "Undercover". There"s also another date maybe, 08:20:08 because those numbers never change at that countdown thing. That's it...and btw, when I click on the electric point, I get a moviescreen but it doesn't start playing. And when I click on the bin it says 07:30:08, but that's today right?!

EDIT!!!
Some Info i found in the source code:
1) "Going undercover in interrogation room"
Hint and some sort of mini-game? Cut scenes after completing missions/tasks? Reporting back to police with info or something? hmmm.
2) "Maggie Q, Chase Linh"
Confirmation of some new characters? other "NFS girls"?
3) "Highway Battle, Tri-Cities/Tri-City"
Highway Battle confirmed to be what I said it seems. Game to take place in Poland!? In Tri-City? (Lol I doubt it). Name of a fake city based in USA somewhere? The "Tri-city area" or something? Confirmation of the city name we will be in on the game?
All speculation I've put together but when you look at the evidence of the source code...I'd say it's pretty sound  !
(Or I could be waaaaaaaaay off lol).

hmmmmmm
Lets consider somethings:
- There was a strong emphasis on crimes and GUNS: EA already denied guns
- Their was a motorway "getaway" scene going on throughout: Could this be the "highway battle" mode? If so...it looks like burnout, where you drive through dense and populated roads with oncoming traffic and dodge it etc.
- Cars in the clips seemed genuine: But not cinematic, its a game trailer of some kind, could well be NFS:UC but...anyone looked at the source code HTML for the website?
I'm not sure...need more vids! But if it is...then it looks good...I WANT CARMEGEDDON STYLE DAMAGE!! As in...OTT and awesome !

At first I thought that they will make a movie when I first saw the teaser- where the effects looked too good to be a game but if you look closer then they will need a lot more better graphics than that to fit a movie category.

what if...
If I dissect the teaser by every frame then it seems that the graphics used on the racing scenes in this teaser might not be a cinematic- I am almost sure that those will be the new graphics in game. I haven't read any of the articles about nfs c but is there mentioned anything on a new game engine or something like that? -if there is then this game will need superior hardware according to EA's track record. Start saving money everyone for hd5000 or gtx380. I would like to see nfsc to compete with crysis!

looks a bit like the fast and the furious, with the crime stuff

ah UC will have cut scenes with real people. Like Carbon and Most Wanted and Command & Conquer 3.

For a trailer that was hot stuff - but really it does not look ok as a NFS game to me. I think EA failed to recognise their strength with NFS. I've been playing NFS High Stakes recently and I thought why don't we get this kind of beautiful driving locations anymore? Early NFS even had game over the GT games of its time because of the creative and different driving locations. Now its only urban stuff. I'm getting bored. If thats the teaser for next NFS, I'm disappointed.

yeap, it's november the 18, as in fact MW was released on Nov 15, 2005 , NFS Pro Street was released on Nov 13, 2007 , so , yeap, this is the date of release of Undercover

whiteboy70176, NO. THIS GAME IS MADE FOR 16 Months. It start last year, i think maybe in June, so this year if they release it in November - there it is - 16 months! The next games will be developed for 2 years.

I doubt this is a teaser. I agree with EKo01. If this was a trailer of the game it would've had EA's logo on it! Plus, isn''t it supposed to take 2 years to develop?

jeuxvideo.com ... trying to find anything related to EA. Tho there is info attached to the video player - PS3, PC and Xbox360. Weird that if this is really EA franchise, so why some kind first time heard site has hands on this!??
And another thing bugs me... As I remember all the teasers to previous releases had EA logo... But this, except the website, nothing...
If this is EA`s work, and they want to tease people and make people interested in this, they have done it..!
