| NFS Shift: Ferrari Racing Pack announced! |

 Ferrari is back! After a 7 year hiatus the elite automaker and racing brand Ferrari returns to Need for Speed: On February 16th, 2010 players will be able to download the Ferrari Racing Pack for Need for Speed Shift, which contains 10 new hot Ferrari cars.
The Ferrari Racing Pack will be available exclusively on Xbox360 for $10.00 or 800 MS Points. (Xbox Live and NFS Shift is required.)
In addition to the 10 new Ferraris, the Ferrari Racing Series extends the career mode with 46 new Ferrari specific challengees (Hot Laps, Eliminators, Endurance Races and a World Tour) and additional 125 Gamerpoints.
The following 10 Ferraris will be included:
1996 Ferrari F50 GT
2005 Ferrari F430 Spider
2005 Ferrari FXX
2005 Ferrari Superamerica
2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
2006 Ferrari F430 Challenge (Online/Quick event only)
2006 Ferrari F430 GTC (Online/Quick event only)
2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia
2008 Ferrari California
2008 Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider
All Ferrari cars are also available online, to compete with your friends and showing your skills in this Italian stallions.

@FedskaTheOne: Yeah, we haven't seen a Ferrari since NFS 6 (HP2). I'm not a Ferrari fan though but I do like the F430 and the 360 Modena. I love the design of those two cars.
I don't like supercars because I'll never have one. They are expensive and overpriced, expensive to run, not economical, not practical, too precise and racing oriented. On the other hand I do like japanese cars because they are invincible, very high quality (very durable), cheap, economical, fun, beautiful...but that is just me. I respect supercars, I like Lamborghini more than Ferrari though, but supercars just aren't for me. I'm NOT a tuner, I'm a racer (will be one day I hope) and I think that with $10.000 (or less) japanese car you can have loads of fun, why would you pay another $300.000? For the girls to see that you have a supercar maybe? Just kidding. And this is just my opinion. What kind of cars would you like to own?

Yeah, it had 16 cars I believe, but still, Ferrari man, finaly, I missed thos, but they could have put some more of a classic ferraris.

I don't know exactly what the achievements will be. However I still think it's not fair to charge for the patch. ProStreet had Patch and Booster pack and you had many more cars (10 or more no?) and it was free.

@FedskaTheOne: That's easy to make, the challenges will be on the same tracks, they aren't making new tracks...And by the way, if I paid $50 for the game I expect the extra content to be free of charge. The extra $10 they require just tells how greedy they are. Stupid EA games, I'm starting to hate them.
@UltimateGTR: You are very right my friend! We (PC gamers) supported NFS since 1994 and this is what we get in return. I have every single NFS game and I like NFS series but this is not fair. Even if they release a patch/booster pack with the extra content and they charge $10 for it, it will be a ripoff.
I hope this content will be available free of charge for the PC (but I honestly doubt that).

Come on EA, I won't buy a new console only for exclusive games, don't forget the PC players are the one who support NFS in early days. Give us this goodies for the PC too!

It's not fair at all. $10 for 10 new cars? Right...
the F430 is basically the same car with minor modifications in the 3D model and stats and there are 4 F430s. What a ripoff.
