NFSMW: Games for Next-Gen consoles announced |

Electronic Arts today announced that it has 25 videogames for next generation consoles currently in development. EA's announced next generation line-up will be at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, May 18-20, 2005.
New games from the EA Sports and EA brands that will be unveiled at E3 include: Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06, FIFA 06, Madden NFL 06, NBA LIVE 06, Need For Speed Most Wanted and The Godfather. EA's focus on character development, animation, gameplay innovation, online play, and graphics will be showcased in its next generation titles.
"EA's diverse next generation line-up will give game players worldwide an early taste of what the next generation hardware systems can do," said Don Mattrick, EA president of worldwide studios. "These games are so rich in terms of graphic fidelity, levels of detail in relation to characters and environments, audio, gameplay innovation and overall entertainment value that they will draw in new consumers and give even the most seasoned gamers something to cheer about. The creativity and technology combined with the talent of EA's development teams will create a new era in videogame design. This next generation of games will hoist interactive entertainment to an unprecedented position on the entertainment ladder."
For the past two years, EA has been concentrating on next generation development, deploying experienced EA designers and engineers onto projects that use proprietary EA technology to experiment with next generation visuals, physics, animation and gameplay possibilities. EA is invested in the development of a wide breadth of next generation products, a handful of which will be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo on May 18-20, 2005.

Electronic Arts today announced that Need for Speed Underground 2 for the Nintendo DS handheld game system has shipped to retail stores nationwide. Need for Speed Underground 2 gives gamers a new way to take on the underground tuner racing scene with exclusive features and gameplay only available on the Nintendo DS.
Players will jump right into the action with numerous underground races happening all around town. Gamers will cruise through a variety of tracks, rack up enough points to customize their rides with visual and performance upgrades and defeat the top rivals to rule the underground streets. The action doesn't stop there. Players can also master numerous mini-games to unlock special upgrades or even humiliate their friends with their street racing skills via the four-player wireless mode.
In addition, using the handheld's unique touch screen technology, gamers can now create an unlimited number of custom vinyl designs to apply to their vehicles for that truly unique style to flaunt on the streets. For that extra boost during races, players also can use the touch-sensitive panel controls to manage their nitrous usage as they make their way to the finish line.

NFS 5: CRP Model Filter |

It took nearly 5 year, but now it is finished: The CRP Model Filter for the ZModeler! Most of you might don't know, what's this all about, so here's a short explanation: It's about the game Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed, which cars have the fileformat CRP. Until now it was not possible to edit the mesh of the cars, but Arushan could create a filter for the loved editor ZModeler, with which it is possible now.

In the german OPM2 (Official Playstation 2 Magazine) there is somenew information about Need for Speed: Most Wanted: There should be day- and nightraces and as much tuning as in NFS Underground 1 und 2. The police chases will be more exciting with up to 15 police cars chasing you. Also the environment reaches from coast roads over highways to harbours, industry areas and city.
Regarding the story: you will join a gang and race against other gangs. They announced the the game will contain the BMW M3 and the Mazda RX-8.
