 EA published some new information of Mia Townsend, played by model and actress Josie Maran, on the official Need for Speed Most Wanted website:
All Mia will tell you about herself is that she loves to win and hates to lose. Find out more about her when you make eye contact with her at 180 MPH.
Mia is a drop dead gorgeous woman who has, against the better judgment of her father, joined into the "Family Business" where she’s proven herself to be hard working, determined and assertive.
Mia is the first women in her family to actually join the business and in doing so has struggled both at work and at home to prove she can do the job just as good as her father and cousin’s.
What is this family business?

| NFSMW: Launch Event in Southern California |

 Electronic Arts hosts the Need for Speed Most Wanted Launch Event this saturday (November 11) at the California Speedway in Fontana, California. Model and Actress (and NFSMW star) Josie Maran and Funkmaster Flex, renowned Hip-Hop DJ, Host of All Muscle on ESPN, and Celebrity Car Enthusiast will be joining this event.
The launch event will occur in conjunction with the Kumho Street Warriorz, one of the biggest grassroots celebration of the street car culture in the world. Celebrities will also be competing in a special Need for Speed Most Wanted tournament at the event.
In addition, the winners from the six-city Need for Speed Most Wanted Blacklist regional videogame Tournament will be flown to Los Angeles to meet the star of Need for Speed Most Wanted, Josie Maran, among other celebrities.

 Electronic Arts published another Blacklist Character, which will be your enemy in Need for Speed Most Wanted. Hector Domingo aka "Ming" is on rank #6 on the blacklist and drives a Lamborghini Gallardo:
This here is Ming. He prides himself on keeping his ride looking stock. He's fast and shreds radar traps everywhere he can. He's the straight goods. Word is he got his ride from some rich cat who talked when he should have been listening. Don't take 'm on until you're ready.

 Last week the german tv show Giga Games showed Need for Speed Most Wanted on PC. Our german affiliate goNFS.de took a closer look, made many screenshots and wrote a short report of the show.
Unfortunately it's in German, but at least the screenshots should be worth a view.
PS: This sunday (30.10.) they show NFSMW again on the Xbox at Giga Games. You can stream the show on the Giga website, but it's in German though. ;)

| NFSMW: Demo is coming early November |

We already reported a while ago, that the Need for Speed Most Wanted Demo for PC will be released at the beginning of November. On the official boards we got the confirmation:
We're still on track for a release in the early part of November. But PLEASE don't start hounding me on 11/1 about it. =)
Early November means 11/1-11-14. (As I interpret 11/15 to equate with mid-November.)

| NFSMW: Again at Giga Games (Xbox) |

As it seems Need for Speed Most Wanted left a permanent impression at Giga Games, because the german TV show wants to show the game the third time.
This sunday (October 30th) they will test again the Xbox version on 22:00 GMT+1. Unfortunately it is in German. If you cannot reveive Giga Games, you can watch it over the livestream:
