| NFSMW: New Forceware Driver |

 On December 9th Nvidia released a new Forceware driver with the version 81.95. Besides improved performance for Quake 4 and Call of Duty 2 the driver contains updated application profiles to include Matrix: Path of Neo, Conflict 4 and Need for Speed Most Wanted.
There is still a problem with rendering in NFS Most Wanted, but this should be fixed in the next driver releases. But the current version already should bring some optimizations.

| NFSMW: Wallpaper Contest Voting |

 Electronic Arts made a NFS Most Wanted Wallpaper Contest on the official website. Now it's time to choose the winners. To do so just choose your favourite wallpaper and send a mail to EA. You can find a link for that under every wallpaper.
The winners can win a MP3 player, a Logitech® PlayGear Pocket™, Logitech® Wireless Headphones for iPod and a set of Logitech® mm22 Portable Speakers for iPod.
Once voting ends, entries will be tallied and the winner contacted via e-mail. The winners will be announced on January 4, 2006.

 EA picks up the popular idea to publish user-made cars of Need for Speed most Wanted. You can send pictures of your cars to EA and maybe they'll be published on the official website:
Want to get your "most wanted" ride featured on the official site? Submit it as part of the Need for Speed Most Wanted Showcase.
In the spirit of being the "Most Notorious street racer", it's only natural that you'd want to have your car featured on the official site showing it off as a badge of honor. Please adhere to the following guidelines for consideration to be featured:
* Must include your EA.com Username (If you don't have an account, sign up for free.)
* Please include the type of car you are submitting
* Submissions must be 427x270 in size
* Submissions can include text on the image, but reserves the right to disqualify any submission containing racial or ethnic slurs, explicit language or sexual content or otherwise offensive or illegal material
* Though you may submit as many cars as you'd like, please only submit one entry per e-mail

| NFSMW: Patch 1.3 released! |

 Electronic Arts just released the Patch 1.3 for Need for Speed Most Wanted. As we announced yesterday, it will contain the following changes:
- Fixed problem with user not being returned to the offline main menu when losing their connection.
- Users are no longer returned to the offline main menu after a LAN race.
- Fixed host hanging in an empty game room after exiting a race.
- Users are now able to find LAN races created through Quick Race.
- Fixed issue where the game will softlock and lose focus when clicking on 'Continue' in the [create new account] screen when information is entered but not confirmed in one of the first four fields.
- Corrected number of laps in Knockout race event in Blacklist 15.
- Fixed problem where users are disconnected from LAN after finishing a race.
- Fixed issue with backround disappearing when mouse clicking the 'Statistics' button during the Hurry Up timer.
- Fixed a crash in the Foreign Registration Alert screen if the user clicks the back button.
- Fixed a crash when backing out and re-entering the Rap Sheet using the mouse.
- Clicking the back button during the Rap Sheet intro now returns the user to the Main Menu.
- Fixed issue with the interior of the car sometimes disappearing during gameplay.
- Fixed performance parts not showing up unless profile loaded.

Since so many community members sent us their savegames of Need for Speed Most Wanted I put some of the online.
Microsoft is trying to extend the backwards compatibility of the Xbox 360 and published a list of Xbox games which can be played on the Xbox 360. To do so, you need an emulator - installed over Xbox Live or a CD/DVD.
Electronic Arts released on the official Need for Speed Most Wanted website 6 new wallpapers. They show the blacklist members Izzy, Jewels and Kaze, and the cars Porsche Cayman and Lamborghini Gallardo.
EA published on the official Need for Speed Most Wanted website a new video, which gives you a glimpse behind the scenes of the shooting of the NFS Most Wanted commercial.
