 Electronic Arts finally opened the EA Webstore for PC users. Similar to the  Xbox Live Marketplace you can buy various things for the pc-version of Need for Speed Carbon.

We have some new material for Need for Speed Carbon for you. A Eng2Ger Patch fpr the Collector's Edition of NFS Carbon. Ok, this might not interest you very much, unless you speak german, but the next tool is a Music Extractor with which you can extract the songs out of the game and get them converted into MP3 files.
And last but not least we have a Savegame Validator, which allows you to play "foreign" savegames with your copy of NFS Carbon. (Read the readme.txt for details, why this is necessary.)

| NFS C: Problems with the Savegames |

As you may already heard from our discussion boards or news comments: There are some problems with the savegames of Need for Speed Carbon. Actually every savegame contains the CD-Key of the game which created the file, which is quite a security risk and also a reason why we haven't put any savegames online yet.
If you want to know more: If you open a savegame with a hex-editor you can find a 20 characters between the hex-offset 0000003c and 00000050 which is the CD key.
To use foreign savegames you either have to replace this code, or update the cd key of your NFS Carbon to match with the one in the savegame file.. Both not a good solution, but maybe EA will fill this security hole with a patch.
Please be patient, we're trying to upload some savegames soon.

 Want to get a glimpse of the Xbox360 Version? If you speak german, you might be interested in GIGA Games (a german tv show dedicated to games), which will show today the Xbox360 Version of Need for Speed Carbon at 22:00 GMT+1.

| NFS C: US Demo |

Electronic Arts finally updated the official Need for Speed website and posted the demo-download. End of October they released the EU-Demo of NFS Carbon, but now there is also a US-Demo availbale (a North-American Version).
We don't know yet which and if there are any differences between the US-Version and the EU-Version. You can download it here:
