NFS PS: My Need for Speed

On November 14th Need for Speed ProStreet has been released in North America and Asia and Electronic Arts opened a new section on their website: My Need for Speed! My Need for Speed is a subsite of the official website, where you can login with your EA Account and see your current career progress and statistics. Additionally you can send messages to your friends and upload pictures of your cars, which are shown in an image gallery. You can also find the leaderboards there.

The login seems to be a bit buggy, because you have to select your default persona for NFS ProStreet. I had some problems, because only one persona worked, so I wish you good luck with it. ;)

NFS PS: WebRidesTV - Every Battle Counts

WebRidesTV set up a duel between three Pro-Racers and three Pro-Gamers, who challenged each other in Need for Speed ProStreet.
At this event they drove on a Xbox 360 station with steering wheels and pedals in the game modes Grip, Drift and Speedchallenge. Only in Drift the videogamer could defeat the pro-racer, in the other two challenges the racers won. In their interviews they commended the realism of the car handling and the detailed visual graphics.

NFS PS: Mix your own ProStreet Trailer

To the release of Need for Speed ProStreet in North America Electronic Arts made a new gimmick of Need for Speed ProStreet. On the new created website NFSMixer.ea.com you can mix your own ProStreet game trailer online. You can choose from several videoclips and listen to the music of DJ/Producer/Musician Junkie XL.

NFS PS: Gametrailers Review & Console Comparison

The videoportal Gametrailers tested Need for Speed ProStreet and summed up their experience in a Video.

Who still has to decide whether to buy the game for Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 might be interested in the latest video "PS3 vs. Xbox 360 Comparison". In this video NFS ProStreet is being compared on the two consoles PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Playstation 3 Version seems to be a bit blurry, but therefore it has fresh colors - the smoke on the Xbox360 looks more grey - you can compare when watching the burnout.

NFS PS: ProStreet at PCGH

The german magazine PC Games Hardware got hands on the final version of Need for Speed ProStreet and posted a bunch of screenshots of the game. You can find 50 new ingame screenshots in their image gallery, as well as 40 pictures of the hot NFS Babes, who you will meet in the game.

Additionally the guys from PCGH made a comparison between the current NFS ProStreet and the preceding NFS titles and documented it in screenshots.
If you want to measure the realism of the game, you might be interested in the direct comparison of the cars: based on screenshots and photos PCGH compares the vehicles from ProStreet.

NFS PS: Xbox 360 Achievements

Xbox360Achievements.com published a list of achievements in Need for Speed ProStreet. This list explains what you have to do to get awarded for every achievement in the game. There are entries like Keep on Wheelin' (Wheelie 50 or more feet in a Wheelie Competition) or Blueprint Apprentice (Awarded when your Blueprint has been shared 5 times.).
