NFSUnlimited made an interview with the English new rave band Hadouken!, who became famous to the Need for Speed community with their title Bombshock in the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit soundtrack.
In this interview the band talks about Need for Speed, their experience with getting on a game soundtrack and of course their music.

| NFS World: Winner of the Create a Track Contest |

 The Create a Track Contest for Need for Speed World has ended and the NFS developers Azlan and Marc chose a winner: Twist Road from Joshdw!
Azlan and Marc felt that this circuit track is a good length, has lots of difficult corners and a nice section to get up your car to its max speed. As soon as we release the upcoming Team Escape mode Azlan is going to build the track and get it into the game for everyone to race on!

| NFS Hot Pursuit: Porsche- and Lamborghini-DLC coming? |

 It seems like the latest Update v1.02 for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is a foundation for upcoming DLCs, because the patch introduced several new trophies.
According to the trophics, there will be a new Porsche-Pack and Lamborghini-Pack, which will feature new game modes and new cars in NFS Hot Pursuit:
Upcoming cars:
- Porsche 911 Turbo
- Porsche 959
- Porsche 911 Speedster
- Lamborghini Countach
- Lamborghini Diablo
- Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
Upcoming game modes:
- All against All ("Alle gegen alle" in German)
- Most Wanted

| NFS Hot Pursuit: Console Patch v1.02 released |

A new update was released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which brings the game to version 1.02.
Here is a list of the (minor) updates:
- Fixed various issue to do with players getting stuck on loading after joining online games at specific times.
- Online trial thank you screen appears if the user looses the connection during boot flow on the online pass screen
- Fixed an issue with road block placement on Coral Bay Drive in "Highway Battle" event
- Fixed various issues with the number of snapshot/dreamshots taken displaying incorrectly.
- As well an issue where the player was messaged that they could take no more photos when they had not reached the limit.
When you start the game you will be asked to download the 318 MB heavy update, at least when you're connected to the internet.
