NFS C: Modding makes progress Dienstag, 11.05.2010
NFS CarbonAfter the release of the Bugatti Veyron by nfsu360 for NFS Carbon and the cracking of the 3d format of NFS Undercover the modding of Need for Speed makes even more progress.

Robin'7t4 created a Dodge Charger 1967 for NFS Carbon - more cars are likely to follow.

Additionally the ModTool package by nfsu360 will provide for more creations for NFS Carbon. The ModTools are being released on 12th May 2010 and contain everything necessary to import new cars into Need for Speed Carbon:

The ModTools Package contains:
- NFS:Carbon Geometry Compiler - tool that compiles geometry.bin file from .z3d and .obj files.
- NFS:Carbon/ProStreet Texture Compiler - create textures.bin from .dds files.
- NFS-CfgEd for NFS:Carbon - export .carbon files that contain car's configuration.
- NFS: Carbon Car Setup - this tool is created to make installation very easy. Automatically create backup files for uninstall process. Users can add this program to their own packages.
