Criterion Games is twittering and unveils an exclusive deal with Porsche, making the Porsche 918 Spyder playable in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit: "Porsche 918 Spyder. Unveiled Geneva March 2010. Playable in NFSHP 3 days later. A hybrid supercar that does 200mph." The Porsche 918 Spyder is a hybrid drive with an acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h in just under 3.2 seconds, top speed of 320 km/h (198 mph) plus, and a lap time on the Nordschleife of Nürburgring in less than 7:30 minutes, faster than even the Porsche Carrera GT.
