Oleg, the famous developer of the tool "ZModeler", which is used for NFS 4, but also for Midtown Madness 2 and GTA 3, recently posted a bad message: Editing cars of NFS HP 2 will be impossible. The reason is the new format, which is used in many new games of Electronic Arts, but nobody could crack it. These .o files are similar to .dll files, but strangewise they are compiled for UNIX. Also the filesize is a problem, because if the size differs from the original file the game returns an error message.
So there is just one thing left: For editing the files we need the header files and libraries EA used for compiling the cars, but this is not possible.

The last hope is just that the fans of other games like FIFA 2003 and F1 may also work on this problem, because this games use moreless the same formats.
