 Die englischsprachige Webseite gba.n64europe.com hat Fragen über die Gameboy Advance Version von Need for Speed Underground 2 gesammelt und hat diese an EA weitergeleitet. Matt Tomporowski, Producer der GBA Version hat sich diesen Fragen angenommen, und heute wurde auf der Seite ein Interview veröffentlicht.
Demnach wird die GBA Version 18 Wagen und 16 Strecken beinhalten. Es wurde viel an der Engine gebastelt, um die Strecken sichtbarer zu machen und gleichzeitig die Framerate zu erhöhen. Die GBA Version wird zwar keine offene Stadt bieten, aber es wurde versucht das Gefühlt von Freiheit zu vermitteln, indem die Strecken in einzigartige Bezirke gelegt wurden.
