This program will let you open up Textures.bin, Vinyls.bin, and any other textures and export the
texture data as Direct Draw Surface (DDS) files. It also allows you to import DDS files back into
the BIN file.
You can only replace an existing texture, you CANNOT add a texture! When playing online, the other
players will see the original texture, not your edited texture.
New features in BinTex 0.4:
* Preview of textures within BinTex
* Ability to open/save NFSU XBOX texture files (not tested fully)
* Support for NFSU2 and NFSMW textures (export only, no import)

I've found how to open and extract .bun files:
1- Download and install Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com, it's shareware)
2- Unzip the gaup.wcx to the Total Commander directory (i attach it with this reply)
3- In Total Commander, choose Configuration - Options
4- Open the 'Packer' page
5- Click 'Configure packer extension WCXs'
6- Type any extension from the table or anything you want
7 -Click 'New type', and select the gaup.wcx
8- Click OK
Now TotalCommander is able to open and extract all .bun files of NFS:MW, and if you want extract .bin files
you must extract the file (like "RIVALS.BIN") and open it with Bintex 0.4! I hope this will be useful ;) |
