| NFS Shift: Many new Mods available! |

 The Modding-Community around Need for Speed Shift is growing! In the last days a couple of mods were relased (like the Damage Mod), where you only have to replace the .BFF-files.
Unfortunately this could lead to some problems, if you want to use other mods, who happen to be packed in the same. .BFF-files as others. But there is a solution: it is possible to "unpack" the .BFF-files and extract a lot of smaller files, which are editable with a plain text editor.
Once the changes are made, you can re-pack the small files into the .BFF files, or - which is quite useful - you can tell the game it should use the unpacked files, which is a requirement for many mods at the moment. All you have to to, is to create a shortcut for shift.exe and in the "target" field you add the parameter -loose.
Based on this "unpacked version" of NFS Shift many new mods are available, like the Bonus Cars in Career Mod 1.0, which lets you buy the bonus cars in the career, or the Reduced Bling Bling Mod, which removes all adverts, graffiti, balloons and circus stuff from the race tracks, so that you can really concentrate on racing. Another interesting mod is the NFS Shift Simulation SK MOD V2.6 by skneo, which modifies the driving physics and aims to make a more realistic NFS Shift.

How can i add the "-loose" parameter to the patch of the executable on the reduced bling mod???
