Vor ungefähr 2 Monaten wurde ein Beta Patch veröffentlicht, der vor allem die Probleme mit Force Feedback Lenkrädern bei Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 beheben soll. Heute ist eine angebliche Final Version aufgetaucht, die eben diese Probleme beheben soll als auch eine Multiplayerverschlüsselung hinzufügen soll. Allerdings ist von offizieller Seite (also von Electronic Arts) seltsamerweise keine Meldung zu finden. Der Patch steht dennoch hier zum Download:
