Im Forum von 'Need for Better Speed' hat sich ein EA Mitarbeiter namens Jon zu Wort gemeldet, und hat angekündigt, dass für Oktober eine Demoversion von Need for Speed Underground geplant ist. Weiters hat er erwähnt, dass die offizielle Seite Needforspeed.com demnächst fertiggestellt sein würde.
