Giga Games hat ein Preview von der PC Version von Need for Speed Underground geschrieben. Es findet sich nicht unbedingt viel Neues, bietet aber doch einen recht guten Überblick. Besonders hervorgehoben wird das sogenannte "Environment Mapping", das überall im Spiel die Umgebung auf Straßen und Wagen wiederspiegelt. Angeblich soll in der finalen Version sogar ein Schadensmodell enthalten sein!
