Electronic Arts announced the next NFS called Need for Speed Heat! In the game, which is developed by Ghost Games, it's all about street racing and speed. An important part of the game will be the difference between day and night. During the day you discover the screets of Palm City in Speedhunter Showdowns with official racing-events. In the night, you can participate in illegal street races and build your rep to get access to bigger races and better parts. Watch out for the cops though.

Of course the will also be modifications on the car. There will be more individualization and it even should be possible to change the clothes of your character and fulfill your creative vibe.

Need for Speed Heat will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and can already be preordered. The game will hit the stores on November 8th, 2019.

New Need for Speed coming in March 2020, reveal at Gamescom

EA confirmed in an investor call, that a new Need for Speed is in the works and they're planning to launch the game before the end of March 2020.

At the E3 there was so sign of the new game, but apparently the new NFS will be revealed at the Gamescom in Cologne, Germany in a few weeks.

"We'll be delivering many other new experiences to players throughout the remainder of this fiscal year," said EA CEO Andrew Wilson. "We'll take the wraps off our new Need for Speed game heading into Gamescom in a few weeks."
