| NFSMW: 9th tourney of the NFS Cup |

 Yesterday was the ninth tourney of the NFS Cup, this time on the track Hillcrest Boundary. The german PlatzdaFoX could win this tourney again; rank #2 goes to MrKOT from the USSR-Team and brothy from ALTERNATE aTTaX made the third place.

| NFSC: Infos to releasedate, platforms and editions |

 The gaming store EBgames recently added Need for Speed Carbon to their range of products and you now can pre-order the game.
But there is an interesting detail that according to EBgames NFS Carbon will be released for the platforms PS2, PS3, PSP, GBA, Xbox, Xbox360, Gamecube, Nintendo DS and Wii (!) - but not for PC.
This creates the presumption that EBgames didn't add this data based information from EA, but just arbitrarily and oriented on the NFS predecessors. Also the release date is stated with November 1st, 2006, which seems like a vague presumption.
For Xbox360 and Playstation 2 there should be a Collector's Edition, however it will look like.
Anyhow, we can expect to get more information about NFS Carbon the next weeks, so we can bring more clearity into this case.
Update: Not to jump to conclusions: EBgames doesn't even offer Need for Speed Most Wanted for PC, so it doesn't mean that NFS Carbon won't be released for PC, just because EBgames doesn't list it.

| NFSC: New Wallpapers |

 We have reinforcements for decorating your desktop with Need for Speed Carbon Wallpapers. This time from CelicaMSM from our affiliate Midnight Sport Machine. The pictures are really great, but don't get confused...he got inspired by the third part of "The Fast and the Furious" - so all you can see on the wallpapers doesn't mean it has to be in NFS Carbon too. ;)

| NFSMW: Germans keep winning at the NFS Cup |

In the first two tournaments of the NFS Cup the russians had the lead - but then came crovex from ALTERNATE aTTaX and won five tourneys in a row. Only yesterday PlatzdaFoX was better and he had to share place 2 with A3xCaesarTFT. After all, the last eight tournaments the Germans won 13 of 29 medals, most of them the team members of ALTERNATE aTTaX.
This results in the following standings:

| NFSMW: Ferrari - this time ingame! |

 As we already reported here Arushan is working on a modification to play Ferraris in the game Need for Speed Most Wanted. Last time he could only show pictures of the car in the garage, but this time you can see a Ferrari in the game on the streets!
He fixed some shadows and transparency issues and fixed the wheel positions.
So it's coming to completion...we'll see when Arushan can release this mod.

 Last week the new NFS title Need for Speed Carbon was announced and there are already new wallpapers for the news game. DJonly51RUSU from Rusuportal.com made two exclusive wallpapers for NFS-Planet, which show the NFS Carbon logo.

| NFS C: Longer Teaser of NFS Carbon available |

Finally Electronic Arts published some media to the games they showed at the E3 in Los Angeles. Although the latest NFS title Need for Speed Carbon has not been shown at the E3, there is a new teaser from EA available, which is 19 seconds long this time.
 The video is similar to the first teaser, shown at the Sony Playstation3 press conference - you can see just front lights and fog - but this time there are more cars and engine sounds - and as it seems the neon lights are back! (picture)
...which cars are show, what do you think? Porsche? Lamborghini?

| Next Need for Speed: NFS Carbon! |

Now it's reveiled: The next Need for Speed title (NFS 10) will have the name Need for Speed Carbon and already has been announced for the NextGen console Playstation 3.
There is already a short teaser available, which was shown at the E3 at the Sony press conference. Unfortunately it doesn't show very much, because it was shown together with some other PS3 games and is just 6 seconds long. You can see a car in the fog and then the NFS Carbon Logo.

The USSR Team - who runs the NFS Cup - starts its new project: NFS Arena!
Loque published a new version of his tool MWTex, which allows you to import your own vinyls into Need for Speed Most Wanted and Need for Speed Underground 2. In this version 0.02.1 an aligning problem was fixed, but unfortunately it's still not possible to import decals.
