Racerplanet created the third NFS World Contest, where you can win a Starter Pack Code worth Speed Boost and the free car starter car if you don't have it already. To participate you have to find several locations in NFS World and mark them on a map.

| Autolog comes to iPhone |

 Autolog - the system in NFS Hot Pursuit to keep track of your and your friend's times - is coming to the iPhone! With this mobile app view the latest Wall posts and post your replies back into the game from wherever you are. See shared Dreamshots and save them to your device, update your profile picture and most importantly, see the very latest Autolog Recommendations from your friends.
If you see a Recommendation from a friend you can tap it to see where you sit on the SpeedWall. If you fancy taking up that challenge, press the Play Later button. This will mark the event on your Wall so you can get straight into the competition as soon as you get home.
The free app is not available yet, but will be released soon.

| NFS World - All the World's a Stage 7 |

 In the seventh issue of All the World's a Stage Eduardo Agostini talks about the new regions in Need for Speed World and gives some insight in the upcoming features. For the first time, you can view All the World's a Stage with Eduardo on video:
Additionally we have 6 new screenshots, showing NFS World at night.

| NFS World Update v5.01 brings French, Spanish and Polish |

This week the update v5.01 for Need for Speed World was deployed on the servers. One major improvement is the language support for French, Spanish and Polish! Until now NFS World was only available in English and German.
Apart from that, the patch contains several bugfixes and an improved newsfeed. You can find details of the changes here:

| NFS Hot Pursuit One Million Challenge |

The NFS Team put together a pack of 3 supercar convertibles for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit: the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster and the Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible Final Edition.
And here's the challenge: If the launch trailer gets 1 million views by December 12th, this car package is being released to the fans as a holiday gift! So watch the video below as many times as you can:

Gamespot made an interview with Exective Producer Marcus Nilsson, who talks about the upcoming Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed. Interesting facts are the new physics-engine, which should bring more Sim to the game and the doubling of cars and tracks in comparison to NFS Shift 1, which means they're planning to feature around 130 cars:
