 Because of the rapidly rising number of betatesters EA has to seize measures:
1) The good news: There will be a second server after Tuesday, so that more Users can play at the same time.
("On Tuesday, after testing a fix for the overload problems found so far on our first server set, we'll be bringing up a second, brand-new server set online to allow more new players to log in and play.")
2) The bad news: The downloadable betaversion at Fileplanet will just be online until Monday, because EA wants to reduce the number of testers to make a better and faster playing and testing for the other users available.

| 2 new Addon-Cars |

 We again have some new Addon-Cars: The Porsche 944 MT-Tuning from Maik Thainer, which has not been modified very much, but it has a fast performance (although it's not easy to steer ;)).
The second car is the Porsche 996 NYFD from Matrixblue, which is dedicated to the firefighters of New York, where 300 of them lost their lives at the 11th September at the attack on the WTC.

As I read at motorcityonline.com, the messageboards are not closed any more for non-betatesters! Everyone can read the articles, but just posting a new article is just allowed for betatesters. ;)

| EA has deleted the mco.zip! |

Without any reasons EA has deleted the Betaversion of Motor City Online from their FTP-Server. But it is still possible to download the 428 MB big file from Fileplanet.

 bOE has sent us his newest car: The Porsche CAS GTR Turbo. Actually it is similar to the Porsche CAS GTR 2001, but it has nice new textures.

 Fileplanet offers the round 430 MB big Betaversion of Motor City Online for downloading. This is much better than waiting for the CD. ;)

 I am sorry, but yesterday I had not enough time to add this car. So it comes today: the Porsche [CAS] GTR 2001 with new textures and a new performance. Just the installation-program is missing. :(

NFS-Planet isn't hardly one year old, but with that day 200.000 visitors have visited us. We are very glad about this number, and we hope to you are contently with us. We are always trying to make our service better. :)
PS: The Downloadserver is overloaded because of the CS-Update at gamesweb.com. For this reason we will make the Car-Update tomorrow. |

It was strange because the download-link of the Porsche Boxster "Speedkills" hasn't worked. But now the link has been fixed and the car can be downloaded without any problems.
