| NFS 6: Beta Patch released! |

 Recently we wrote that EA may release a Beta Patch, and let's see: here it is! Cadillac just uploaded the Beta Patch 242 for Public Testing, the final patch will be released after the testing.
For details take a look at the readme file, that is included.

Recently the EA Representative 'Cadillac' wrote a few sentences about the upcoming patch for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2:
"Some snags have arisen. Getting QA resources to totally validate the patch has been sketchy. The devs are not satisfied that it has gone through the ringer enough. That said, there is some urgency to get it out however. There is discussion about releasing it as a beta patch with hopes to release it properly with more testing. As soon I know these detailsm, I'll pass them along."

 3 new Addon-Cars for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 we have today. 2 of them are so-called "Tactoo-Packs" by Superfly, and the third car are 2 new colors for the BMW Z8 by Robert.

 Diablo SV has sent me a nice new skin for the driver in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Now he got a yellow Hawaii shirt. :)

 Today we have again an update of 7 new Addon-Cars for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. There is also again an first-time car, like the BMW M5 Fire from Superfly. All cars are really great.

 For Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 I uploaded again 2 new Addon-Cars. From GST there comes the "Lamborghini Murcielago Autobahnpolizei Brandenburg", with a blue-silver varnish, and the "BMW M5 - Matador" (picture) by DaWu, which has the original Matador texturs. Looks great!

 Jeroen from our affiliate ND4SPDWorld was able to test the alphaversion of the tool Oedit. At the moment it is just possible to move the verticles, and so Jeoren moved down the roof of the Mustang Corba R, so that it looks like a cabrio now. (Look at the pic)
Unfortunately Arushan, the developer of OEdit said that the tool may be released in at least a year.
Edit: The 1-year-waiting-time was just a joke by Arushan. A fixed releasedate is not sure yet.

| NFS 6: Mesh Editing soon possible? |

 Arushan is working on a tool called OEdit (Screenshot), with which you may be possible to edit the 3D models of the cars in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2.  First tries show the screenshots (click to resize). At the moment the program is quite simple, but yet it is just for playing with the file types and encrypting the rest of the files.
 Arushan works together with Oleg, the developer of the ZModeler (program to create cars for NFS 4, GTA 3, MM2 and more), and in the best case you will be possible to edit the cars in the ZModeler. Let us hope the best.

| NFS 6: Kyro Patch |

Unfortunately this is not the awaited patch from Electronic Arts, but an unofficial patch from Apophis and Did156, which should solve the known problems with Kyro graphic cards. (Bad Artist, No Cookie!)
Because this is an unofficial patch, you install it on your own risk.
