Unfortunately the downloads only produce a 404 error, although all files exist. Our hoster changed the sysconf before I could fix my scripts, so the downloads were not available since today morning. At the moment I am working on the problem. I apologize for any inconvinience.

NFS 6: ATI Catalyst Driver

The times where owners of ATI graphiccards could not play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 are gone. The latest Catalyst driver with the version 3.1 has a bugfix for the game, which makes the game functionable. It is even mentioned in the release notes:

Running the game Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 with all options set to maximum and the display set to 1024x768 32bpp no longer results in a system hang.

NFS 6: 1 new Track

The german racing website T-Racing published another new track for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. It's name is "Redrock", and instead of the alps you drive now on red dirty rocks.

NFS 6: 4 neue Addon-Cars

Today there is an update of 4 new Addon-Cars for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. Unfortunately I could not add more because of some technical problems, but within the next days I will add more.

NFS 6: Interactive Achievement Awards

The Interactive Achievement Awards will be presented on February 27 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
There the Playstation 2 version of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is nominated in the category "2003's Console Racing Game of the Year". Other nominees in this category are the games 'ATV Offroad Fury 2' (PS2), 'Moto GP: Ultimate Racing Technology' (Xbox), 'RalliSport Challenge' (Xbox) and 'NASCAR Thunder 2003' (PS2).

At these annual awards Need for Speed Porsche and Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit have been nominated, but they never could win. 1999 NFS 3 lost against Gran Turismo, and 2001 NFS Porsche could not convince in the category PC Simulation and Mech Warrior 4 won.
Let's hope the best this year, although the chances are not too high. ;)
