 The official system requirements of Need for Speed Most Wanted don't differ very much from those of the Demo, but I post them anyway. ;)
OS: Windows XP or 2000
CPU: 1.4 GHz or faster
RAM: 256 MB or more
Disc Drive: 8x or faster CD/DVD drive
Hard Drive: 3 GB or more free space
Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible (see right)
Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible
Input: Keyboard, mouse, or USB Steering Wheel/Gamepad
Video card with 32 MB or more memory and one of these chipsets is required: ATI Radeon 7500 or greater; ATI Radeon Xpress 200; NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/GTS or greater; Intel 950/i915g; S3 GammaChrome S18 Pro
Multiplayer requires 1 set of discs per PC and a broadband (Cable, DSL, or faster) connection.
Internet or LAN (2-4 players)
Need for Speed Most Wanted will be available on the PC for these territories on the following dates.
North America: November 17, 2005
Europe: November 25, 2005

 The demo of Need for Speed Most Wanted just has been released!
Download the 550 MB big file here. We'll write a list of mirrors later, so that you can get the demo as fast as possible. Have fun!
Update: You now can download the demo also from our server, and we have the first mirrors for you.

| NFSMW: Blacklist Character Razor / Demo News |

 On the official Need for Speed Most Wanted website you now can find a new character of the game. This time it's rank #1 of the blacklist: Razor!
Razor rocketed to the top of the Blacklist using your ride. Now he's holding it down and rolling the streets like he owns them. He'll do anything he can to give himself an edge. That includes messin' with your head. Remember, you can't trust anything he says.
Regarding that we have a small movie in our movie section.
Additionally we have a small update regarding the demo:
So here's a nice little something to think about. Rarely, do we do demo releases on Friday's. Just doesn't work w/ our file release plan. Friday's, people are thinking about their weekend, other games, etc.
That's all I'll say on the subject.
But it's coming definitely before the 14th.

| NFSMW: Demo tomorrow morning? |

 In the official NFS boards someone predicts the Need for Speed Most Wanted demo to be released on Tuesday morning. We'll see if this is true, since many people already said things about the demo that weren't true.
I have just recieved word from a reliable source that the PC Demo for Need For Speed Most Wanted will be available for download early this Tuesday morning. That is November 8th. Also, for the people who have already played the XBOX and PS2 demos, this one will be completely different. If this information has already been released, then please forgive me. But, I am pretty sure I am the first to expose it.

 We are looking for a new face! The design and logo of NFS-Planet is more than 3 years old, so we thought it's time to make something new, something fresh. You can help us, because we are searching for a new logo!
Only requirement: The writing 'NFS-Planet' should be visible. Apart from that, let your creativity run wild! (Although you may should consider common principles of logodesign. ;))
You don't have to do it for free...the best entries will receive a demoversion of Need for Speed Most Wanted (console). Unfortunately it's just PAL version, so this prize will be only interesting for Europeans...

Our german affiliate NFS-Center has 19 new screenshots of Need for Speed Most Wanted. You can download them under the following link.
According to a EA Rep on the official boards the Need for Speed most Wanted demo will not be released today. But it will come between 9th and 14th of November. 
Electronic Arts published a 30 seconds TV-Commercial of Need for Speed Most Wanted. It shows some scenes of the game and close-ups of a speeder. At the end the writing "Be Wanted" fades in.
