| NFS C: New Unlocker unlocks all Reward Cards |

 There is anew version of the NFS Carbon Unlocker from Gnagna2000. Now you can unlock all Reward Cards, including the one which gives you the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. In the normal case you should race with an EA Moderator to forfill this quest, but recently EA admitted that this is not possible:  see here

| NFS C: "Road Rage" - Gamespot's NFSC Tournament |

 The onlinemagazine Gamespot is making a $1,000 Need for Speed Carbon (Xbox360) Tournament called "Road Rage"!
Unfortunately it is only open for GameSpot Total Access subscribers and you have be a resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) to participate.
The tournament will feature 48 players competing for the top prize. Signup starts December 6, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. PDT and ends December 11, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. PDT.

The following text about NFS Carbon was posted yesterday at the official Need for Speed boards:
Hey!
Couple quick hits:
1. PC disconnect issues should all but be resolved. (So I'm told. ;))
If you are still having disconnect issues, please hit up me or one of the mods (Which this week will probably be faster) and let us know.
There was a patch made last week that after showed significant signs of improvement.
2. PC Moderator Unlock - There is no means of unlocking the 911 currently. I'm looking to ways to resolve this and have a couple options, but I can't talk about them yet as it's in the hands of a few groups within the organization. But rest assured I'm looking to fix it. We made a mistake, no way around it. I'll make it right.
3. Looking to see what options are available for a PC patch. I've got a comprehensive list of requests that I'll be sending to the team. More on that as it develops. No promises, but they are interested in what I'm collecting.

| NFS C: ControlPanel v1.02 (UPDATE) |

 FormatC published a first version of his ControlPanel for Need for Speed Carbon!
With this tool you can make some graphic optimization, change the language of the game or modify your serial number / cd-key. Furthermore the tool includes a savegame importer, which lets you modify the CD-Key in the savegames, so that you can use foreign savegames with your copy of NFS Carbon. Additionally you can create new profiles containing bonus cars!
And last but not least, you can extract the music of NFS Carbon and get it converted to WAV or MP3-Files.
Update 2006-12-04:
We released the version 1.03 of the ControlPanel! Due to the many support requests on profile creation it contains more notes about this function. Additionally it is now possible to change the language you chose at the beginning in the tool itself.
