 It's been a few years in the making, but finally the curtains fall: the website EA.com - the official website of Electronic Arts got a relaunch!
The new design has a fresh and bright new look and as it seems they put much attention on usability and clarity. It looks much more stable and friendly than the old one.
As I can see there aren't any new function, but you might want to take a look anyway:

| NFSMW: The NFS Most Wanted BMW in real-life |

 Although MTV's 'Pimp my Ride' is already quite old, there are still some car tuning-shows around. In the german TV-show 'BIZZ' a BMW gets pimped Need for Speed style. The target was to tune an 18 years old BMW 3 Coupé, so that it looks like the BMW in Need for Speed Most Wanted! The car is being lowered, it gets wide tires, new exhaust pipes, a dvd-player with touchscreen and a 450 watt power amplifier.
If you speak german and receive german tv channels, you watch it on TV at 16:20 GMT+1 on 'Kabel1', or you just watch the 16-minute video on their website:

| Easter egg search finished |

 The Easter egg search is over and the number of participation is even bigger than last year. The search ran only for 4 days, but more than 2000 eggs have been found. Over 300 members found enough eggs to participate at the drawing.
The winners will be announced within the next few days.

Just as last year around easter we have something special for you: an easter egg search! The easter bunny hid on the whole NFS-Planet website 10 colorful eastereggs, just like the one you see on the right.
Whereever you see such an egg, click on it and it will be marked as "found".
Of course you'll need a NFS-Planet account and you have to be logged in. Once you managed to find at least 5 eggs, you automatically participate in the raffle where you have the chance to win one of the following prizes:
- 15x Need for Speed Carbon calendars 2007
- 1x Burnout Legends (PSP)
- 1x Black & White 2 (PC-DVD)
- 2x Lord of the Rings - Battle for Middle Earth I (PC-DVD)

| NFS C: Race Nights! |

The next few fridays are dedicated to Need for Speed, because this is when the RACE NIGHTS are on!
Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce a new community weekly event that will/should bring all NFS: Carbon players together one night a week to compete, have fun, and try to earn the EA Moderator achievement!
RACE NIGHTS is a weekly event starting at 9 EST / 6 Pacific time every Friday that will be devoted to one console every week.
Come race on Friday, and then report about your experience in  this thread, and your place, times, and other statistics will be reported on the main website and this forum! Opportunities for prizes may come as well, but this is your chance to declare at least one day a week yours! So put the women and children to bed guys, and meet me and other NFS enthusiasts online Friday night, 9 EST time.

4/6 - XBOX 360
4/13 - PC
4/20 - PS3
4/27 - XBOX 360
Key things to remember:
- Enjoy yourself
- Remember to report about your experience in this thread (stats, races, cool things that happened)
- Look for me and other EA moderators to earn the EA moderator achievement
