NFS PS: Hands-On @ IGN Friday, 13.07.2007
NFS Pro StreetThe online magazine IGN got a picture of Need for Speed Pro Street at this year's E3 - but have a look on your own:

Crashng now, finally, does real damage to the cars. Parts will fly off, become loose, and eventually if enough damage is done, the car will stop, become totaled, and be useless for the rest of the weekend. Therefore, crashing a car in the volatile speed races could be a bigger problem than it might have been in other Need for Speed games.

We experienced this first hand when we took the controls to blast down the road in the Nevada desert speed race loaded up for the event. While we figured we were doing very well as we rifled along the highway, we made a mistake, hit a bump, and went flying into a rock. Not surprising at 180 mph we suppose, but the damage was irreparable. And when we tried the demo again, and flew off the road and crashed into a telephone poll, we totaled the car yet again. Not to worry though, minor crashes won't end your day, which is going to be pretty key for drifts where smacking a wall now and again is inevitable.

Rethinking at EA? Monday, 09.07.2007
EAAccording to The Wall Street Journal, John Riccitiello, CEO of Electronic Arts since this year's april, is getting tired of the every year's update of EA's gaming selection and demands more innovation and experiment-happiness of the whole videogame branch. We'll have to see what this means to the future of the Need for Speed Series and the currently produced Need for Speed Pro Street.
