So far it admits is that Underground 2 will be released on 12 November 2004 for the PS2. The console Version will be available few days before the PC Version. On the Games Convention 2004 however another date was called: 18 November 2004. In the discussion with Electronics Arts SPEEDMANIACS.DE experienced, what has it with the new date on itself. The California developer and Publisher aims at, differently than in the previous year, the simultaneous distribution for all platforms (PC, PS2, Xbox).

It is not decided yet, but it is very probable that sloping body parts, for example, will be seen in the full version of Need For Speed Underground 2. However already it stands firmly that the players will be able to tune their car individual. That means that you will not only change the optic and the power rating of your car. You will be able to adjust the parameters of the parts, for example Tuning Chips.
