NFSU2: Interview with Matt Tomporowski Wednesday, 06.10.2004
NFS Underground 2The website gba.n64europe.com collected questions from the community about the Gameboy Advance Version of Need for Speed Underground 2, and forwarded them to EA. Matt Tomporowski, the producer of the GBA version answered and you can find the interview at their website:
According to the answers, the GBA version will feature 18 cars (normal version has over 30) and 16 tracks. EA worked very much on the engine to display the tracks better, make more contrast and improved the framerate, which should be higher than in NFSU. The GBA version will not contain a 'free roaming' mode, but EA "tried to capture the spirit of a free roaming city by placing the courses in uniquely defined neighborhoods".
