NFSMW: New Information from the Games Convention Sunday, 21.08.2005
Some new information about NFS Most Wanted could be elicted from the EA staff on the Games Convention, which currently takes place in Leipzig, Germany:
  • There's a possibility to tune up your car, especially the motor tuning was mentioned to assure the chance to win with every car.
  • The police cars, which won't be playable, will receive realistic damage in contrast to the player's car due to the license contracts.
  • Now more than four people can challenge each other in multiplayer, and there will be a splitscreen mode included, too.
  • There won't be a replay mode again, but more camera perspectives.
  • No additional tracks or cars will be available for download later on.
  • The game isn't as arcade as NFSU2, but a bit more realistic.
  • The Xbox 360 version will be the graphically best. It also includes more traffic and police cars.
  • The demo version will be released during the next weeks, but there was no certain point in time mentioned.
