Since yesterday you can find an article in our support-section which should help you with problems when playing NFS Most Wanted on PCs with multiple core processors.

First of all you can install the drivers from AMD, if you have an AMD processor. Additionally there is an inofficial hotfix from microsoft you can try. You can find further information in our support-section for Need for Speed Most Wanted.
