| NFSMW: WCG 2006 Rules announced |

 This year the World Cyber Games 2006 will take place in Monza, Italy. Recently the WCG announced the official rules and maps for the 2006 tournament, which will be applied in all local preliminaries and national finals in WCG participating countries. Registration for the first round of competition begins this month, with players vying for the opportunity to represent their country at the Grand Final in Monza, Italy from October 18 - 22.
The rules reflect feedback solicited from gamers around the world as well as related tests and verification by e-Sport professionals, including previous WCG finalists. Official maps for individual games, tournament processes and basic settings were improved so that gamers as well as spectators can enjoy the setting and pace of the WCG tournament.
"The new rules for WCG 2006 are the best standards of e-Sport competitions ever, which is made by worldwide gamers and e-Sport experts," said Hank Cheong, the CEO of ICM. "And we will continue to manage WCG to satisfy both participating gamers and spectators."
Im detail Need for Speed Most Wanted will be played 1on1 in circuit mode, 5 laps. The Porsche GT and the BMW M3 are not allowed, as well as Junkman parts. It is also not allowed to use a personal savegame...there will be one provided by the WCG.
The tracks will be Diamond, Dunwich Bay, Heritage Heights, Bay Bridge and East Park.

@keanhong nope, doesn't depend that much on driving skill. Trully you should remember the Corolla in UG 2 at the WCG2005... And yes - I did participate... 4th in my country (Bulgaria) 'cause I was with the 240sx... stupid of me...
I don't really see why no one would say which is the best car  we gon' find out anyway

i took part once, wen NFS underground was there!!
But at that time i was pretty new....so i lost to a better opponent!!
I agree that everyone has his own style of driving!!
but there are cars like Corolla in NFS UG2 and Mazda RX7 in UG,which are pretty awesome!!
so i guess we have to find it out the hard way!!!

Actually i think... the best car is depend of your racing skill, some cars are suitable for some skills only.. so just play the game and u will know it... and who here is taking part in WCG before??

well
I would like to ask - if I can't use the Porsche GT... what is the next fastest car? Remember UG2? Corolla only? Most wanted would have been the same with the Porsche GT...but now I am asking which car is the best?
Personally I think it would be either the ultra-well handling Elise or Punto...
maybe even the Cobalt... i don't know...
