NFSMW: Textur-Export with Bintex, GAUP or MWTex Wednesday, 26.04.2006
NFSMWThe program Bintex by Arushan was already helpful in its version 0.3 for NFS Underground to edit the vinyls.
Now Arushan recently released Bintex 0.4 which allows you to open also the .bin-files of Need for Speed Most Wanted and Need for Speed Underground 2 and export them into the DDS (Direct Draw Surface) format. These DSS files can be opened with a corresponding plugin in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.
At the moment only export is possible for NFSMW and NFSU2, no import.

Secondly you have the possibility to use MWTex by Loque, which also allows you to open the BIN-files of Need for Speed Most Wanted and, export the textures in the formats DDS or RAW (depending on the type). Also same here...no import, just export. But Loque may will try to add an import function soon...

Additionally you can open BUN-Files with the Game Archive UnPacker (GAUP). A short guide with the tool TotalCommander you can find here:

» Open BUN files with GAUP (ZModeler2 Forum)

You can find all tools in our NFS Most Wanted Files-Section:
