 IGN.com recently revealed a carlist of Need for Speed Pro Street containing a couple of previously unknown cars. Besides a short comment to each of the six cars you may gaze at some new screenshots.

WOW
Looks awesome! I hope the physics are 100% realistic. I'm getting tired of playing NFSC. It's too easy, especially without realistic damage. Hope there will be hundreds of cars to choose from, too. Can't wait!

Golf
Well... I think the Golf is good as it is... I mean... if they wanted older versions of Golfs... they would probably only do that if they were going to make VW Unleashed LOL.
@RGCxTheOnly: The physics are all going to be like realistic driving... so if you think better performer is like those super sharp turns you could do in Carbon and MW... I don't think that will happen. HAHA... but don't know what your definition of better performer is.

Different versions of cars
Remember when in nfsc we had chevrolet camaro and the chevrolet camaro concept? or the old mustang and the new one? Or the mitsubishi eclipse gt and mitsubishi eclipse gts? I mean, they should put the old version of golf, the GTi =(

Yes I agree its good to see the Nissan 240 SX (S13) again hope its a better performer then in NFSC similar to NFSU2.
Then again we have the NFSU2 legend Toyota Corolla GTS AE86  that will be interesting in NFSC it was just a bonus car and nothing special to drive hope that changes 2 was a great car in NFSU2 circuit and sprint.

Well i'm very happy to see the rsx ^^ if acura is there i think that the nsx will be too in :O The tyres are rly beautiful too, more than in NFSC. About the skyline, true.
I don't know if all the cars of the list will be in coz of something special. What i do know is that EA is trying to put all the best cars from older games like NFSU, NFSU2 or NFSMW. Look at RSX and 240sx!! they are back! EA did an error with 240sx @ carbon ( it was a car of lvl 1 only) coz it was way to fast and they were scared and didn't made it of lvl 2. Sry for my bad english ^^

Details.
Hmph... it seems that the cars from older NFS's such as the R34 GTR, Elise, Turbo, and 240SX haven't been upgraded detail-wise since Carbon, MW, or Underground. Take the Skyline, for example, the headlights are still rather jagged... and the front bumper also looks rather rough around the grille. The 240SX is alright since it was modelled pretty well on the first try. The Turbo also looks like there is a lack of detail: the little circle beside the turn signal is very jagged. The Elise is alright... but the side mirror could use a little smoothing out. The Lexus looks very nice and is very realistic and same with the new RSX... but the thing that I am very impressed with otherwise are the tires, rims, and wheel wells. They have been smoothed out considerably from my point of view... (my computer's gfx aren't very powerful).
About the carlist... they said each car in the list is there because the car was remembered for something special... I'm not exactly sure if this is true... but with 2 Skylines in it already... I can't really make something special out of the car list... Overall, I'm liking what EA is producing out of ProStreet... but I'm really looking for the details in this game...
