The developers of Motor City Online have collected feedbacks of the users, and now will make some changes on the auctions in the game. Here are the changes, that will be made soon:

All the stuff in the current Parts Auctions will also be available in the Parts Catalog.
The stuff in the Parts Auctions will have starting bid prices at 50% of the Catalog price (so you can still bargain shop in auctions if you want).
A few new classes of parts will be added to Parts Auctions (this is a bigger deal and will take longer than the two items above) - these parts won't have much effect on horsepower or torque, but will offer varying degrees of improvement to per-race durability, long-term wear, or weight factor (or combinations thereof).

Michael Waite also mentioned, that there will be other changes within the next months.
