NFS UC: No demo planned! (Update) Friday, 19.09.2008
NFS UndercoverAccording to the onlinemagazine GamingIndians.com there won't be any demo of Need for Speed Undercover. The magazine talked with producer John Doyle at the Games Convention Asia 2008, who supposedly said that "EA would not be releasing a demo of the game since they wanted to concentrate on the game rather than spend time on the demo".

At the moment there is no official confirmation of this statement, but as soon as we know more, you get to know here.

Update:
It's confirmed, there won't be a demo of NFS Undercover! What do you think about that? Is it enough for you to trust reviews, to buy the game? Let us know in the comments.

...

That is a blunt move of them. In my opinion a rather bad move. After Pro Street so many people were disappointed in EA. People used to rely on the quality of EA games, especially when it came to the NFS series hence it’s been a long running series in deed. I think people need more confidence in the NFS series again. By not releasing a demo you basically make the people either buy the game with no real feel of what it is like or people will just pirate it. I myself will buy it, simply because I am a very loyal customer not so much loyal to EA but to NFS ;-). Kind of disappointed though, once again.. Maybe they thought that making it look really similar to NFS MW was just going to drag everyone back and that did not need to know what it really felt like to race, therefore cut out the demo!? Who knows.

One question...

...will this be the last NFS game? Or will there be more after UC? The NFS series can't go on forever, so it would have to end somewhere. Could UC be the end?

[sarcasm] Of course, it's such a hard and long job rip out the career mode and most cars.[/sarcasm]
I believe this is actually an evil marketing strategy which will RUIN the sales for them. Hah.
