NFS WO: Interface Screenshot Friday, 27.02.2009
NFS World OnlineThe interface of the upcoming online game NFS World Online has been revealed. It's good to hear, that NFS WO won't come with the same restrictions for PC as the console-ports of the other NFS games:

NFS WO

Key to the concept of NFS World Online is the user interface which has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the PC architecture. Instead of a traditional console view of a game, we’re using a user-selectable gadget interface designed specifically for the PC. The system allows the gamer to choose which components of the interface they want to add to their game. The gadgets are really flexible and offer a wide range of display options: docked/undocked, floating in the game window or just sitting outside of the game space. A lot of gamers now have more than one monitor so you could keep the game window entirely clean and then have all the gadgets sit in the other monitor. We think it’s about time PC gamers had games that allowed them to arrange their information their way.

...

That actually doesn't look to bad...although they really need to do much more with the graphics...don't really like the the "off docked" gadget thing, I have a big enough moniter for all the shite WoW used to have so, little "window docks" aren't my thing, but as long as they are lockable to the window...looks ok.

Bottom right thing looks quite sleek actually...I hope I don't see a "timed boost" thing from Pro Street there again...fucking H8 time that (as in...you press boost and it all goes in 1, no control over it...yeah I know but f*** "realism") and I would like a "analog" choice for the speedomter too but...hmmm

Autodrive?! Wow...not bad, that must mean...they either thing we are all lazy bastards or they have scaled the world to 2/3 maybe even 4x what is was of both games combined...either way interesting feature.

"Call traffic"? Wtf is that...you can decide how much traffics on the road...you can be a cop and use the traffic to help you...you can control the traffic...or is it jargon for "talk to other players"?

I'm intrigued...but still skeptical that the game will epically fail beyond doubt...

Need more info. But so far...i'm at least "interested".
