NFS Shift: Cockpit Upgrades

The GamerZines Blog posted some pictures of several Cockpit-Upgrades in Need for Speed Shift. At three different cars you can see, how the interior changes when buying Cockpit Upgrade Level 3: custom steering wheel, custom seats and additional gauges. Here you can see as an example the Ford Focus ST:

The Cockpit-Upgrades are only for visual reasons and have no effect on the vehicle's performance. If you don't like the look, you can seel the upgrade and revert back to the original factory design.

yeah

Pretty but...its about time "cosmetic" was thrown out, and realism was thrown in...i want upgrades and visual parts to have DIRECT effects on a cars performance, be that anything from top speed all the way to its air dynamics, weight distribution etc.

dude, there is a cage, look more carefully the second image and u will see it on the left side

And I thought that including a "cage" (you know, those metallic tubes) in the car's cockpit it would give you more stability on the road, just like in GT5...
