NFS Shift: Demo uncertain Saturday, 05.09.2009
NFS ShiftNeed for Speed Shift goes into a different direction than most previous NFS games, which makes a demo quite indispensable, if you want to get an impression of the game before purchase. Unfortunately the following statement reached us from EA:

In the last few weeks we've received a lot of messages and forum posts about a demo so we're currently looking into the feasibility of releasing a demo for SHIFT. We are committed to releasing the best Need for Speed game so we kept the entire team working on the game to make sure we release a really great experience.

We're really proud of what the guys at SMS and Black Box have created and we can't wait to get the game in your hands.

So basically it's not sure, whether or not a demo can be released before the launch date on September 15th (17th in Europe). As soon as we know more we let you know.

@ DarkPaIn and Fedska:Undercover:

I'd be careful with what you're writing, unless you want to get contacted by EA's Legal Department..

Discussions about torrents don't belong here!

I've readed that if they don't release the demo before, they'll after so there's no reason to bother about the money as you'll be able to try it before you buy it, if you want to. Of course, you will have to wait a bit for your wanted game demo to come out.

This is not a movie, this is a video game, you cant controll the ingame actions, and that why it's important to know as much as posible about the content of the game

Yep, this sucks. There should be a law, that before releasing a game publishers must present an actual demo to the public of the game, so the buyers won't get raped
