NFS Shift: Demo comes after the release Saturday, 12.09.2009
NFS ShiftLast week the release of a demo of Need for Speed Shift was » uncertain. Now we have good news for all who are waiting: EA listened to your demands and there will be a demo of NFS Shift available for Playstation 3, Xbox360 and PC. The bad news is, that the demo is coming at the end of September/start of October. (Well, better late than never :).)
So if you want to try out the game before purchase, you have to be patient.

The NFS Shift demo will most likely contain the two tracks London River and SPA Francorchamps. You can drive with four cars at the beginning: the Dodge Viper, Lotus, BMW M3 and Nissan R35. If you manage to collect all ten driver badges, you could unlock a Pagani Zonda and take it for a spin.

You can see an introduction of the two tracks in our movie-section:

If people won't buy the game on the release and will wait for the demo, then they will get a chance to be interested in the game.
Or its a marketing strategy, don't release the demo on release date or sooner, so people won't how shity this game is and buy from the stores without knowing details

Well, at least there *will* be a demo

I think with Undercover the no-demo-strategy wasn't the best...
