EA paid the Italian Alps a visit in order to create a real-life, full-motion video recreation of the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit box art. In a mountain pass known as Passo di Falzarego (10 miles from Cortina D'Ampezzo), the Pagani Zonda Cinque and a police Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 were set in the scenery.
