| NFS Most Wanted: Multiplayer |

 EA revealed first information about the multiplayer in Need for Speed Most Wanted : players will have an open world, where you can meet up with your friends, screw around, compare cars, wreck each other, racing, explore the city looking for hidden gameplay, compete for fastest times, longest jumps, biggest drifts – whatever you want to do.
The Playlist Director serves up new challenges and shows them on the map, where you have to drive. Apart from the classic race we have the Speed Camera Challenge - where you try to reach the highest speed before the time runs out - and the Jump Event, where the longest jump wins.
Another event is the Team Race, where you try to get the best positions as a team.
The multiplayer mode is designed for non-stop playing, as there are no menues, which will hold you off from driving. Even after a race there is no lobby screen...after crossing the finish line you can park your car and relax while waiting for the others, or explore the world.
But you can also turn your car and crash into the other still racing participants, which can be quite useful in a Team Race to support your team members.

@ATi0021: It's sad that EA doesn't realize most of us want the previous style of NFS which allow heavy customization for the cars, such as Underground 1, 2 ; Most Wanted and Carbon.

That game had a story, tuning and you started with a crappy car and had to work to climb up the blacklist...
New MW doesn't have a story at all and you have to become the most wanted racer of the multiplayer. Thats why the new is BIG FAIL!!!
