The Need for Speed movie comes closer to production and so more and more details surface.
According to

Variety the plot will be about an underground racecar driver (played by

Aaron Paul), who owns a garage that modifies expensive cars to make them faster for racing. Framed and sent to prison when his best friend is murdered during a race, he seeks revenge upon his release...

Additionally Variety announced that next to Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul also Dominic Cooper (Captian America) is in the talks to get a lead role in the movie: Dino, an ex-NASCAR driver who uses his connections to the wealthy to create a business rebuilding and modifying supercars.

In addition, Imogen Poots (known from 28 Weeks Later, Fright Night) is making a deal to play an exotic car dealer who does business with Paul and Cooper.

Will the Underground-themed film coincide with the release of Underground 3 perhaps? One can only hope.
