NFS Most Wanted PC-Patch to resolve performance issues

The PC version of NFS Most Wanted is suffering from performance problems and stuttering issues. According to an article on the EA website the team is already working on a patch, which should help:

We are aware that some players are experiencing stuttering and frame-rate issues while playing Need for Speed Most Wanted on PC. Our team has been working diligently on resolving these problems and we have made improvements that will hopefully resolve most of these problems. These improvements will be available in an upcoming patch.

Wehn the patch will be released is not known yet.
